Fishbeck, Thompson, Carr & Huber, Inc. (FTCH) Recognized for Marquette Municipal Service Center Project
Grand Rapids, MI – On March 10, FTCH was presented the Engineering Merit Award for work on the $16.5 million Marquette Municipal Service Center at this year’s American Council of Engineering Companies of Michigan (ACEC/M) Excellence Awards ceremony at DeVos Place in Grand Rapids.
Gundlach Champion wins Build Michigan Award
IRON MOUNTAIN, MI - Gundlach Champion, Inc. (GCI) is pleased to announce that it was awarded the 2017 Build Michigan Award in the Design-Build category for construction of the Marquette Municipal Service Center by the Associated General Contractors (AGC) of Michigan.
GCI Awarded AGC of Michigan Outstanding Safety Award
Companies receive safety awards from the Associated General Contractors based on the size of the company’s work force and their safe job performance for the reporting year.
AGC Build Michigan Award
Gundlach Champion was the proud recipient of the 2015 AGC of Michigan Build Michigan Award for the Humboldt Processing Facility in Champion, Michigan.
The award is based on several criteria including Project Challenges, Excellence in Project Management, client needs, innovation in construction techniques, and exceptional service in safety, employee relations, and scheduling. Gundlach Champion was the winner in the Federal/Heavy Construction division.
AGC Cornerstone Award 2014
AGC 2014 of Michigan Cornerstone Award for Construction Training Excellence
Gundlach Champion received the Michigan Cornerstone Award for Excellence in Construction Training. The award is based on a number of criteria including field craft journeyman to apprentice work hour ratio, management involvement in apprenticeship training trust funds and committees, in-house employee training and community involvement with regards to promoting construction careers and educational programs.
