The Upper Peninsula Construction Council honored trade apprentices on Saturday March 21, 2015 in Marquette, Michigan.  17 apprentices from across Michigan’s Upper Peninsula were nominated for the 2014 UPCC Apprentice of the Year Award.  

Gundlach Champion, Inc. was approved as the design/builder for the upgrades and renovations to the Marquette County Jail and Tuesday night’s Marquette County Commission meeting.  

Children from the YMCA daycare in Marquette donned their own hard hats on Tuesday to tour the construction area’s progress.  

The workforce training efforts of Gundlach Champion, Inc. of Iron Mountain, MI were honored with the 2014 Associated General Contractors (AGC) of Michigan Cornerstone Award for Construction Training Excellence at the AGC Annual Meeting held on Friday February 20, 2015 in Detroit.

Construction continues at Iron Mountain High School on the $9.5 million bond project with Gundlach Champion serving as Construction Manager.
