Northern Michigan University Dormitory Buildings | Marquette, Michigan

Gundlach Champion, Inc. completed two Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certified projects on the campus of Northern Michigan University in Marquette, MI during the summers of 2006 and 2007.  The Van Antwerp Hall renovation project which received a LEED Silver status was complete in 2007.  A similar project – Meyland Hall renovation – received a LEED Certified designation in 2006.  The LEED designations are governed by the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED rating system.  These two LEED certified projects included major demolition and renovation, as well as new building entrances and roof, were completed during the schedule-intense, three-month duration while the college students were on summer break.
