Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvements | Munising, Michigan

This project consisted of replacing an aged wastewater treatment system with a new 0.9 million-gallon-per-day plant. The work included installation of pre-cast concrete oxidation ditches and process aerator mixers. Additional scopes of work and improvements included excavation and dewatering; cast-in-place concrete; demolition of two clarifiers and sedimentation tanks; installation of two new 60’ diameter clarifiers; ultraviolet disinfection grit removal equipment; screen and washer; centrifugal blowers; pumps; electrical and controls; building renovation and laboratory room upgrades.
