Projects have included, but are not limited to numerous maintenance-related projects, rail car loading facilities, chunk tunnels and super pocket structures at the Empire Mine and Tilden Mines located in Marquette County, Michigan and the Northshore and Taconite Mines in Minnesota’s Iron Range. As a “Preferred Contractor” Gundlach Champion has performed general contracting work for Cliffs Natural Resources for over 50 years.
