Gundlach Champion was hired to renovate a historic downtown building into an upscale jewelry store with a European flare. The owner brought GCI into the project during the design phase to offer value engineering options to help keep the project within their budget while helping to meeting their overall vision.

Preserving the original millwork and doors wherever possible retained the building’s character. Selective demolition was performed to uncover and highlight the hidden treasure of original brickwork and to expose original structural beams.

The main floor level is home to the main showroom and staff area. The upper level serves as the workroom. A full building camera security system was incorporated and all HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems were completely replaced.
