MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) – Construction on Marquette’s new municipal building began at the beginning of this summer and they are hoping to have it finished by the end of next June.
The official deadline for the project is June 30th. Gundlach Champion is the contracting company on the site. This building will be the future site of many different city services such as plowing, sewage, and parks and rec. In mid-September they will be putting up the rest of the building’s walls. By the beginning of December the roof should be put in place so they can work on the interior during the winter months. Click here to read more about this exciting project!
